Along with
food safety, food security is a top
priority. Security officers patrol our entire farm
- fields, production facilities, worker housing -
24 hours a day, seven days a week, year-round.
This acreage is fenced and gated, with
controlled access and no one is permitted
entry without a legitimate invitation. Other
acreage, which is part of the Camp Pendleton
military base, houses 45,000 Marines who do
their part to limit unwanted access.
We understood the urgency of having a solid security
program in place long before 9/11. Now, more
than ever, we remain diligent, 24/7.
